Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of SocialLitr, operated by Litrgroup Limited.
This document is an operational template for SocialLitr. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using SocialLitr (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The service
SocialLitr provides social media management features including composing and scheduling posts, content calendars, approvals (including guest review links), inbox tools, analytics, media library, brand kit, and related collaboration tools across connected social platforms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or have parent/guardian authority if local law allows younger users) and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and for activity under your organisation’s accounts and spaces. Notify us promptly at privacy@sociallitr.com if you suspect unauthorised access. Organisation owners control seats, spaces, and roles.
5. Connected social accounts
When you connect a third-party social account, you authorise us to access and use that account as needed to provide the features you use (publish, schedule, sync messages/metrics). You must have the right to connect those accounts. Third-party platform terms continue to apply; we are not responsible for changes, outages, or enforcement actions by those platforms.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Litrgroup Limited a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Platform for you. You are solely responsible for content you schedule or publish, including compliance with advertising, IP, privacy, and platform rules.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Platform, including by attempting unauthorised access, distributing malware, scraping beyond permitted APIs, harassing others, uploading unlawful content, or circumventing usage limits or security controls.
8. Plans, fees, and trials
Features may depend on your plan (Free, Creator, Creator Pro, Studio, Agency, Agency Plus, or Enterprise). Paid plans, renewals, and taxes (where applicable) will be presented at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan limits or pricing with reasonable notice for renewals.
9. Guests and approvals
If you invite guests or share approval links, you are responsible for what those recipients can see and for obtaining any permissions needed from them.
10. Intellectual property
The Platform, branding, and software (excluding your content) are owned by Litrgroup Limited or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the Platform except as allowed by law or a written agreement with us.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect delivery to third-party networks, or specific business results from scheduled content.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, Litrgroup Limited’s aggregate liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the Platform in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you are on a free plan).
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk to the Platform, or non-payment. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Platform.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your place of residence.
